StatSoft Inc. has opened a new office in Oslo, Norway.

It’s the third international office the company has opened this year, bringing the number of StatSoft’s international offices to 22. The facilities provide sales, technical support, implementation services, configuration services and training for StatSoft’s overseas STATISTICA users.

Knut Opdal, an experienced Norwegian IT executive and an expert in data-mining technology, will manage StatSoft Norway. For the first year, its management team will be joined by Alf Bergen, who is currently the managing director of StatSoft’s Scandinavia office.
