The incoming associate dean of Central Michigan University’s College of Business Administration plans to expand its Six Sigma offerings to students.
Monica Holmes, a Six Sigma Black Belt, is a big believer in Six Sigma for college students and MBA candidates. She reports that she will begin pushing graduate students to pursue Six Sigma certification and to become more fluent with statutory accounting practices (SAP).
“The skills that students learn from being involved with SAP and Six Sigma would be very marketable, especially in Michigan,” she told the university’s campus newspaper, Central Michigan Life. “I believe that SAP and Six Sigma are two initiatives that would strengthen our MBA program.”
