Students enrolled in the International Society of Six Sigma Certifications’ Green Belt courses can now simultaneously earn their Green Belts and attain certified manager process improvement status.
The dual certification ability also applies to ISSSC’s Black Belt courses. The Harrington Institute is providing the coursework for the certified manager section of the courses, which are designed to maximize learning in both methodologies. The next Green Belt course lasts for three days and begins on Oct. 11 in Chicago. Another begins Nov. 7 in Columbus, Ohio. Five-day Black Belt courses start on Oct. 9 in Cincinnati, Oct. 16 in Chicago and Nov. 13 in Columbus, Ohio.
“We are excited to allow students to maximize their time and money by giving them the ability to test for two certifications during the same class,” says Daymond Cox, president of the ISSSC. “It is through our affiliations with the Harrington Institute, one of the top recognized and respected names in Six Sigma, that we are able to make these offerings.”
ISSSC has currently scheduled courses in Ohio, Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin, Indiana, Kentucky, England, Ireland and Germany. For more information, visit www.isssc3.com.
