The Juran Institute was recently approved as a vendor for the state of Connecticut’s Aerospace and Defense Initiative.

The initiative supports Connecticut’s Next Generation Competitiveness Strategy, and assists the state’s defense and aerospace industry in achieving improved productivity with up to 50-percent reimbursement for the cost of lean services.

“The $2 million Connecticut is investing in the introduction or continuation of lean manufacturing techniques at suppliers in this key segment of the economy will be repaid many times over with more jobs, business expansion and a sharp, well-educated workforce,” says Joe DeFeo, Juran Institute president and executive coach. “That moves Connecticut business and industry to the forefront in quality competitiveness.”
