World Energy, Griffin Industries and Cargill Inc. have embraced BQ-9000 and recently earned the distinction of becoming accredited producers of biodiesel fuel.
Griffin recycles agricultural byproducts in Cold Spring, Kentucky. World Energy is based in Chelsea, Massachusetts, and its biodiesel plant is in Lakeland, Florida. Cargill is a multinational provider of agricultural, food and risk management products and services.
Twelve companies have met BQ-9000 standards and an additional six have begun the process.
