John Wilkerson, a Six Sigma Black Belt, was recently certified as the first international lead management consultant in the United States.

Wilkerson is executive director of Bellwether Services, a lean Six Sigma consultancy and training organization. Published in 2003, the international lead management consultant certification was first administered by the Registrar Accreditation Board and the Quality Society of Australia International. It was adopted in the United States in 2005.

The certification assures competencies in management consulting, formal lead management education and technical expertise in management. Certified personnel are also required to adhere to RABQSA’s code of conduct.

“With the expanding globalization of the work force, it was important that my organization and I seize every opportunity to raise our bar of excellence,” says Wilkerson. “This status reflects our commitment to provide added value for our clients and reinforces the Bellwether Services vision—Believe, Execute, Achieve.”
