(ANSI: New York) -- The American National Standards Institute recently welcomed seven new members—Crane Operator Certification Authority, DataCom Technology Co., Electronic Data Systems, MetaMetrics Inc., Parsec Inc., Valley View Corp., and Weitzel and Associates.

These organizations joined a federation that represents more than 125,000 companies and more than 3.5 million professionals. This diverse constituency works together to strengthen the competitiveness of businesses in the global marketplace and to improve the quality of life for all citizens by developing, implementing, and promulgating voluntary consensus standards and related conformance assessment systems.
