(NSAI: Nashua, New Hampshire) -- Companies looking to become suppliers to The Boeing Co. now have a simpler way to get on to the company’s preferred provider list. The aeronautics giant recently announced that it will now accept IEC/TS 62239 certification for electronic component management programs (ECMP) under the International Electrotechnical Commission’s Conformity Assessment System. This means for the first time, Boeing will accept third-party audits to qualify suppliers.
Instead, the company has decided the IEC/TS 62239 certification proves that suppliers will provide them with reliable avionic systems equipment built to an exacting standard. NSAI is proud to be one of only three internationally accredited bodies that can provide this independent, third-party assessment and certification service to companies.”
