(Shingo Prize for Operational Excellence: Tualatin, OR) -- The 2009 Western Region Shingo Prize Conference will be held Sept. 29–30 at the Portland Center Stage in Portland, Oregon.
The organizers have chosen a progressive conference format, venue, and city. The aim is to connect attendees with nationally recognized speakers, tour world-class facilities, and provide ample opportunities to connect with experts of operational excellence.
This year's conference will be held in the Historic Gerding Theater at the Armory. After a $35 million renovation, it attained the LEED Platinum Certification for sustainable development and green implementation.
