(NewsBlaze: Al Asad Airbase, Iraq) -- The Maintenance Platoon with the 47th Transportation Company, 751st Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, 10th Sustainment Brigade, from Fort Bliss, Texas, keeps the missions moving.

The company’s Maintenance Platoon supports a fleet of 125 pieces of equipment, which encompasses everything from M1070 heavy equipment transport, M1075 palletized loading systems, to M915’s tractor trailers. Although the company has only been in theater for a little more than 60 days, their Maintenance Platoon has been busy turning wrenches and making missions happen.

With a platoon that is only 17-men strong, they have improvised, adapted, and overcome adversity and relocation to a new motor pool.
