(ANSI: New York) -- The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) has announced that its webstore.ansi.org, a web site for the purchase and download of U.S. and other national, regional, or international standards, now offers the complete collection of standards from the British Standards Institution (BSI) for the convenience of U.S. stakeholders.
“ANSI is pleased to partner with BSI to offer these internationally recognized standards to our customers,” says George Gulla, ANSI vice president of publications. “This comprehensive set of documents is a valuable addition to the approximately 200,000 standards offered on the Institute’s web store.”
Comprised of nearly 30,000 documents, the BSI body of standards addresses a wide range of topics critical to every industry, from agriculture to transport systems. The collection also includes all of the standards developed by the European Committee for Standardization (CEN) and the European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardization (CENELEC) as adopted by the British Standards Institution.
