Kandice Taylor teaches eighth-grade science in Jackson, Mississippi. She has a master’s degree in teaching and a bachelor’s in biology. Besides her writing, research, and teaching, she has won awards for her work: one for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching in 2023, and another for being a standout in the 2023 National STEM Scholar Program.
