Satya S. Chakravorty

Author and teacher

Satya S. Chakravorty has extensive experience in developing, training, and implementing process improvement (lean, Six Sigma, and Theory of Constraints) programs in large organizations such as U.S. Marine Corps Air Station, Shaw Industries, Lockheed Martin, Heinz, Beech-Nut, 3M, AT&T, Harlequin, and Los Angeles Times. Many of his implementation insights can be found in the MIT Sloan Management Review/the Wall Street Journal, Quality Management Journal, Industrial Engineer, European Journal of Industrial Engineering, European Journal of Operational Research, Operations Management Research, and Production and Inventory Management Journal. His Ph.D. in production and operations management is from the University of Georgia. He also teaches at the Michael J. Coles School of Business at Kennesaw State University.
