I started in Quality a year and some months ago. My boss had just been promoted/his position consolidated from QA Manager to QHSE Manager / Compliance Officer. He was also a "one-man band" for many years, so his delegation skills were/are nonexistent and his focus on HSE has been the dominant part of his job. As a result of this, I was left to fend for myself for mostly a year, and I turned to ChatGPT to, honestly, help train me in Quality. It's allowed me to not fall completely behind in my company and answers a lot of my questions when I can't seem to get answers from my boss due to how busy he is.
I was weary of AI for a long time, but it does have its uses, especially when the people around you don't have time for you.
