As a manager of a global market research/customer feedback program I truly appreciate this article. Employee engagement as a central focus in any organization is a work passion for me.
I truly believe companies that emphasize employee happiness and engagement tend to have downstream efficiencies that ultimately lead to increased customer loyalty. Treat your people right and they will run through brick walls to help you and your customers. There's plenty of research supporting this theory along with many real world examples in B2C and B2B.
I've had the opportunity to work with internal clients on designing and improving various internal business processes as part of my role and am now beginning my journey down the lean Six Sigma path...exciting times.
