(DIS: Clinton Township, MI) -- Dynamic Intelligent Solutions (DIS) was awarded first place in the Great Lakes 4th Annual Automotive Innovation, which was sponsored by the Detroit chapter of the Society for Automotive Engineers (SAE) and the MIT Enterprise Forum.

The competition’s objective was to identify and develop new technologies and solutions for the automotive industry. DIS was one of five top finalists that presented at the 2011 Automotive Innovation competition finals on Tues., Nov. 15, 2011, at the San Marino Club in Troy, Michigan. The panel of judges included key automotive-technology decision makers from Ford, General Motors, and the U.S. Army Tank Automotive Research, Development, and Engineering Center (TARDEC).
DIS developed a patent-pending process called the ChamberCam, which improves the efficiency of measuring the dimensional stability of components under extreme climatic conditions. ChamberCam also reduces development time and cost.
